Ace, o Bat-Cão (Ace the Bat-Hound) foi um personagem canino, companheiro na luta contra o crime de Batman e Robin nos quadrinhos da DC Comics, entre as décadas de 1950 e 1960. Ace estreou-se na revista Batman #92 (Julho de 1955).Criado pelo escritor Bill Finger e pelo artista Sheldon Moldoff, Ace foi inspirado no sucesso de Krypto quando este se estreou em Adventure Comics #210 (Março de 1955), e pelos cães pastores-alemães dos filmes e das cinesséries da época, como Rin Tin Tin e Ace the Wonder Dog. Originalmente Ace era retratado como um cão Pastor-alemão, posteriormente passando a ser retratado em outras adaptações como um cão Dogue alemão preto.

Ace the Bat-Hound was a canine character, companion in the fight against the crime of Batman and Robin in the comic books of DC Comics, between the decades of 1950 and 1960. Ace debuted in Batman magazine # 92 (July 1955). Created by writer Bill Finger and artist Sheldon Moldoff, Ace was inspired by Krypto's success when it debuted in Adventure Comics # 210 (March 1955), and by German Shepherd dogs movies and the likes of the time, such as Rin Tin Tin and Ace the Wonder Dog. Originally Ace was portrayed as a German Shepherd dog, later being portrayed in other adaptations as a Black German Dogue.
